I'd sell my soul, but two things mostly prevent that : i] I don't believe there are malicious deities that actually have the power to offer such things and to actually 'get what you want'.. they will fuck you for your desires and twist it against you... so I'm not interested in corrupt offerings... I won't enjoy it in the long run... ii] I think I'd rather bust my ass and benefit from it in the long run... the pay off is far greater and the universe won't spit on me for it, no matter how it feels like right now... just so you know "there is no easy way out" discovering that a few people think that karma works for you when you just take things for yourself... I recognize pay back is due at some point.. but karma doesn't hand it out to you because you just stand up and 'make' it give it to you... I don' t mean you should lie on your ass waiting for the universe to turn and get back to you what you are owed [I'm nutorious for that, due to my ineffable patience] but forcing or taking things doesn't give you want you want... When you gain Power, you take it away from someone else and it creates further imbalance in the universe... When you recieve Luck, you are only borrowing that Power for a brief time... and it can be passed on to the next person that needs it... I've been doing a lot of weird and great stuff lately =] I've been learning photoshop stuff better as you can see by some icons and the new panels I'm adding in.. Also writting content is going to be a big thing for me.. can make more money with the skills I have, than trying to work for someone else.. looking forward to finally having a 'career' and using my brain and imagination finally... hope you are all well.. chees +laine+ |
